Google has a brand-new way to learn about your business, and you’ll need to optimize your profile for it—social media! Google now crawls social media platforms to gather more information about your business. If you’ve been looking for an edge over your competition, this is another tool to add to your belt!

Why Social Media Links Matter

1. Algo Knowledge: Google uses your social media profiles to learn more about your business, helping you boost rankings for the services you offer.

2. User Experience: Users will find it easy to choose your business when they can see your Facebook posts directly in Google results, and then click to learn more about what makes you great.

3. Build Trust: An optimized, engaging social media profile encourages clicks and builds trust. The more active your profiles are, the more likely Google will show your business—and the more likely users will become customers.
