Google recently introduced a new feature that makes reviews and photos even more valuable for your business. Now, when users scroll through photos on a Google Business Profile, related reviews and menu descriptions appear right beneath those images.

This means that reviews, especially those rich with details and keywords—are now more visible than ever, directly tied to the photos customers are browsing. We’ve always emphasized the importance of reviews and images, but this update takes your profile optimization and ranking to a whole new level.

How to Optimize Your GMB for This New Update:

1. Upload Plenty of Images: Add as many images of your products or services as possible to your profile. Google loves businesses that stay current and accurately represent the customer experience.

2. Incorporate Keywords in Reviews: Keywords in reviews are extremely powerful. A single review mentioning a key service or product could push your business into the top 3 for that search term. Encourage customers to use specific terms in their reviews!

3. Update Services and Menus: Make sure all your services or menu items are updated in your GMB. Google will pull this information to display beneath your images, enhancing the user experience.
