How we Increased an eCommerce Brand's Revenue by 95% in under 3 months

Since starting in early August, Our Agency has helped blow up a Flours & Grains eCommerce brand.

Revenue increased by over 95% and ROAS increased by 71%.

In less than 90 days.

So in today's email, I'm going to show you the exact step-by-step strategy we used to successfully scale this brand.

Our Strategy

When we began work with this brand (August 10), there were no Google ads campaigns running.

Because although they had tried Google in the past..

It resulted in little to no results.

A BAD investment for the brand.

But when we began work, we realized that it wasn’t Google ads that was the issue.

It was the approach itself.

A weak product feed filled with errors

No proper conversion tracking

​An unoptimized Google merchant center No shopping campaigns ever tested

Instead of diving right into the campaign structures, we took a step back.

And focused on the foundational pillars of the brand.

Here, our approach was fairly simple.

We implemented conversion tracking that suited the brand the best (data driven).

And fixed key product feed errors by:

Adding square images that stood out from competitors

Doing keyword research to improve titles

​Fixing the product errors and warnings

Once the foundation was as strong as it could be, we moved onto the ad strategy.

But this is when we realized that the account had no previous Google shopping spend.

We would have to start from scratch.

And this also meant our initial approach would have to be simple.

Less stress for the algorithm and more scale.

​We ended up launching the 1:1 ad strategy here:

1 Performance max campaigns with all products

1 Brand search campaign​

Something basic to get everything tested and at the same time, get quick data (via brand search).

Instead of further complicating things once the approach was working, we decided to run with what we hand.

This meant increasing budgets & decreasing restrictions for the main Pmax.

But this is only the beginning.

With the data coming in now, we’re:

  • Further optimizing product titles

  • Enabling more Google Merchant Center programs (reviews, trusted store badge, etc.)

  • Planning search campaign creatives

Ultimately, this will lead to a segregated approach that uses all campaign types for massive growth.

And that's exactly how we were able to increase this brand's revenue by over 90% in under 3 months.
