Did you catch Google’s recent update? They've announced that starting July 31st, they will discontinue the call tracking feature for Google Business profiles. This may have left you wondering about the implications for your business and seeking alternatives.

For those unfamiliar, this metric shows how many people clicked the call button or your phone number on your Google Business profile—a crucial indicator of your performance on Google Maps. Alongside a few other metrics like website clicks and direction lookups, its removal is a significant hit to reporting. This change won’t take effect until July 31st, giving us some time to adapt.
